VIDEO: The Grand Tour’s 2-Part Special Will Remind You Of The Very Best Of Old Top Gear

The Grand Tour is now halfway through its first season on Amazon Prime and it has been a hell of a ride. Expectations were high as there was much hype around the return of the trio and that Amazon was paying so much more for the show. It’s safe to say that episode after episode the Boys have been smashing expectations and has left us yearning for more. And more we will receive!

As people are now home for the holidays and to celebrate the new year, Amazon Prime is releasing a two part special, the first for The Grand Tour, of their adventures in Namibia:

In this 2-part special The Grand Tour abandons its usual travelling tent for a road trip across Namibia as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May attempt to demonstrate the brilliance of that great ‘60s throwback, the beach buggy. The Grand Tour boss, Mr Wilman has declared that beach buggies are terrible and it’s up to the hosts to prove him wrong as they saddle up three examples built to their own specifications and set off on an epic journey across south west Africa, taking in sand dunes, rough roads, dirt tracks, animals, accidents, incidents, arguments and some incredible scenery. Watch part 1 on 30th December and part 2 on 31st December

Two episodes almost back to back will be an epic way of celebrating New Year’s eve. And if you’re in the comfort of your home and aren’t driving anywhere, we have written a Grand Tour drinking game, which will be perfect for this two-part special. Just remember to drink responsibly.
