Here at the BMW booth they showcased the all new BMW i8 hybrid which is expected to deliver a miser’s fuel efficiency at a Scrooge McDuck’s price tag of $136,000. The vertical doors are sure to turn heads, however the car is extremely hard to get out of.

Also revealed is the all new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. It will arrive this summer as a 2015 model.

Accompanying the 4 series is the Alpina B6 Gran Coupe in xdrive.  This is an all wheel drive platform delivering over 560 HP to those lucky enough to get their hands on it.

487,000 vehicles were delivered in the first quarter this year and BMW aims to sell over 2 million this year, the North American market being the largest contributor.  BMW also plans to expand the manufacturing in Spartanburg, South Carolina even more so to meet this goal.

BMW X4 revealed here is a derivation of the X6 which birthed the sports activity vehicle segment.

The new BMW M4 convertible will be powered by an inline 6 cylinder turbo while reducing fuel consumption by 25%,
