USA Compression Continuing Partnership with Ron Capps Motorsports

Often we hear the phrase ‘A Match Made In Heaven,’ well, USA Compression and Ron Capps Motorsports are indeed a match made in high horsepower heaven.

Dallas based, USA Compression is one of the nation’s leading providers of large horsepower compression services for infrastructure applications involving natural gas and crude oil. Since coming on board in 2015, they have supported Ron’s quest for win lights and Wally’s, including when he left Don Schumacher Racing to start as a privateer in 2022 with Ron Capps Motorsports. Ron couldn’t be more excited to be continuing the partnership, now at an associate level, through the 2025 season.

“This is a really cool partnership because there is so much correlation between what USA Compression does out in the field and what our NAPA Funny Car team does on the race track, with big horsepower being the common denominator,” Ron said. “High-powered engines are at the root of everything we do. We both rely on horsepower, and both industries encounter high-stakes safety scenarios in our daily endeavors, which means highly skilled employees are crucial to our success.

“I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many USA Compression employees over the years, particularly when we go out to Reading (PA.) and Dallas,” He added. “They love coming out to the track, checking out the car, feeling the rumble when two side-by-side Funny Cars are barreling down the dragstrip, header flames shooting over the roof. They’re big fans, and their support is a major reason why the relationship with USA Compression has even going strong for a decade now. They just have such an appreciation of what we do, and we have the utmost respect for that they do. So, a huge thank you to all of the USA Compression employees for their continues support of our race team over all these years.”

As part of the associate level sponsorship agreement, USA Compression will not only receive branding on the team crew shirts and Ron’s firesuit, but they will be featured prominently on the spill plates of Ron’s NAPA Auto Care Toyota GR Supra. One of the more important parts of the partnership, aside of the exposure, is access to the RCM hospitality pavilion and NAPA race pits. USA Compression utilizes the race program as part of their internal rewards system and treat employees to a ‘Day At The Drags’ with Ron serving as their host.

Clint Green, CEO, USA Compression, had this to say about the continuing partnership, “Ron Capps as exemplified excellence in Funny Car racing for many years, and USA Compression is proud to once again sponsor him and his team ahead of the 2025 season. We’ve been partnering with Ron for over a decade now, and it’s been a terrific ride. We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of his winning team for another season.”

Ron and the RCM team will hit the track for the first time in 2025 at the PRO Superstar Shootout in Bradenton, Florida, February 6th – 8th and the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series kicks off with the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida, March 7th – 9th.
