Mecum Auctions Gone Farmin’ exceeds $6.2 million in total sales

Recently, the world’s largest vintage tractor auction company, Mecum Auctions Gone Farmin’ hosted on of the biggest tractor spectacles in history. The George and June Schaaf Tractor & Truck Museum auction, held Sept. 30th – Oct. 1st at the Schaaf Museum in Frankfort, Illinois, exceeded $6.2 million in total sales.

Drawing in more than 1,000 registered live and remote bidders, the auction featured 638 lots of tractors, vintage vehicles, Road Art, relics and the June Schaaf Doll Collection.

George spent decades selecting the rare tractors and vehicles that made up his remarkable museum. The assemblage comprised of well preserved tractors of the highest quality, regarding both aesthetic and mechanical condition and those who were looking for the best certainly got it.

The Top 10 tractor sales, were as follows;

1.) 1917 Willmar Little Oak (Lot S3) – $420,000

2.) Gas Tractor Company Big Four 30 (Lot S28) – $294,000

3.) 1924 Minneapolis 35-70 (Lot S11) – $283,500

4.) 1913 Hart-Parr 30-60 (Lot S7) – $278,250

5.) 1917 Allis-Chalmers 10-18 (Lot S30) – $262,500

6.) Emerson Brantingham Big 4-20 (Lot S29) – $189,000

7.) 1911 International 15 HP Type A Gear (Lot S4) – $183,750

8.) 1916 Avery 40-80 (Lot S19) $173,250

9.) 1920 Aultman-Taylor 15-30 (Lot S25) – $152,250

10.) Rumely 30-60 E (Lot S44) – $136,500

More than 560 lot of Road Art that had adorned the walls in the Schaaf’s museum also saw the block, and the Top 10 Road Art sales were as follows;
