America’s Vice President Does A Burnout

The new season of Jay Leno’s Garage is coming up on November 9th, and based on the teaser he just tweeted, there’s going to be lots of unique cars and unique guests. Among them is Vice President, Joe Biden.

Just like the President, the VP doesn’t get much freedom either and they usually end up getting ‘car fever’. During their term in office and then six months after it or more, they are generally not allowed to drive a car. That means at the time of the filming of this episode, Biden was only allowed to drive his own ’67 Corvette Stingray three times since he has been in office. So it wasn’t a surprise to find that the first thing he does getting in the car is a proper American burnout

We think that Jay Leno, Tim Allen, and perhaps Jerry Seinfeld would be the perfect American response to the Brits’ Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. Judging from previous Jay Leno’s Garage clips, it looks like they might have the comedic chops and chemistry to do it. But they might be a little too old and a little too expensive to do something like a Top Gear or The Grand Tour.
