McLaren P1 GTR Spins Out Of Control

The Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is one of the most recognizable race tracks thanks to its unique turn #8, the corkscrew, which is a steep downhill chicane meant to be taken at a snail’s pace. The McLaren P1 GTR is a $3 million 986 horsepower 3.8 liter V8 mid engined and electric motored hypercar that is so exclusive that you’d have to own a P1 first before getting the privilege to buy the track only version. So when the ultra-precise track-carving tool meets the iconic raceway, you’re guaranteed to see an exquisite piece of automotive masterpiece. That is unless the McLaren P1 GTR butchers the corkscrew’s entry and loses traction. Luckily, the driver was able to avoid the sidewall by a small margin.
