The BMW 3 Series is the quintessential sports car. It has been around for more than four decades and has served as the sports car measuring stick for many of those years. Pick up a car magazine, any car magazine, and you’ll find the words “3-series fighter” or “3-series killer” describing other brands’ attempt to topple the sports car reigning champ.
